2016 Division III Softball All Region Team
Region IV Press Release
Dallmann Stats
PALATINE, Ill. – Harper College softball player Jordan Dallmann (Roselle, Ill. /Lake Park) was recently recognized as one of the top players in the region. The sophomore was selected First Team All-Region IV for NJCAA Division III softball.
She started all 27 games and led the Hawks in batting average (.406) on-base percentage (.488), home runs (2), RBIs (19), hits (28), runs (22), walks (11), total bases (52) and slugging percentage (.754). She also slugged a team-high seven triples and is currently tied for fourth in the nation in that category.
Some of her best offensive production in the spring came against Oakton Community College. On the road at Oakton on April 3, Dallmann had an incredible two games. In game on, she went 4-for-5 with a homer, RBI, two doubles, and two runs scored. The sophomore outdid that performance in game two as she went 4-for-4 with a homer, six RBIs, four runs scored, two triples, a double, and a walk.
Defensively, Dallmann was solid the entire year. The catcher recorded 76 putouts, 19 assists, and only four errors for a .960 fielding percentage (best on team).
"When coaches can point to you as one of the top players in the region, it shows the type of player you are," said Harper head softball coach Scott Plaza. "With Jordan, she did it offensively and defensively and was a great team leader."
