Spring 2014: Entering second season with the Hawks.
Fall 2013: Placed 30th at the 2013 DIII Cross Country National Championships … team won third consecutive national championship ... won Harper College Athlete of the Week.
Spring 2013: Ran distance for the Harper track and field team … placed fourth in both the 5000m and 10,000m at nationals … team finished runner-up at national meet … N4C Academic All-Conference student … member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Fall 2012: Placed 19th at the national meet … team won the national championship
Prep: A two-year letter winner for the Wildcats … ran for coach Tom Polak … voted Wheeling’s Most Valuable Player as a junior … a team captain in junior and senior seasons … also earned three letters in swimming and one in track … was team captain of the swim team for two seasons and the track team for one season … a member of National Honors Society … graduated with High Honors.
Personal: Nick is the son of Robert and Carol Modlin … major is mathematics secondary education.
