Region IV Report

PALATINE, Ill. – Harper College sophomore Allias Burnett (Joliet, Ill. /Joliet West) was named the NJCAA Region IV Div. III Men's Basketball Player of the Week in the Region IV Report that was released on Monday. Burnett becomes the first Harper player to earn the accolade this season.

The Hawks played one game before Thanksgiving break, and Burnett had a very productive evening against visiting Richard J. Daley College . The 6-foot-3 guard/forward scored 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting (4-of-8 3-pointers) and grabbed six rebounds to go along with four assists and three steals in 40 minutes.

Last season, the Hawks had a Region IV Div. III Men's Basketball Player of the Week on seven separate occasions.
