Full All-Region and All-Conference Teams
PALATINE, Ill. – Four Harper College women's soccer players were recognized by Region IV and the North Central Community College Conference (N4C) as All-Region and All-Conference players for the 2014 season. Goalkeeper Nicole Soderholm (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove) and midfielder/defender Kassidy Kushner (/Barrington) were both named First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference, and forwards Danielle Reptowski (/Schaumburg) and Jillian Zelek (Elk Grove Village, Ill./Elk Grove) were both awarded Second Team All-Region and Second Team All-Conference.
Soderholm started all 15 games in goal for Harper and produced several memorable efforts. She saved 23 shots in back-to-back games Sept. 19 and 20 against Rock Valley College and Rochester Community and Technical College. She also had a 22-save effort against second-ranked Anoka-Ramsey Community College Oct. 4. Soderholm also occasionally played forward for the Hawks and scored one goal.
Kushner played in all 15 games for the Hawks, scoring two goals and an assist while providing a steady presence on the defensive end.
Reptowski tied for the team lead in goals with three. Her goals against Triton College (Sept. 12) and Joliet Junior College (Sept. 17) were both game winners.
Zelek started 13 of 14 games for Harper, and she set up Reptowski for the game winner against Triton. She earned First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors in 2013.
