PEORIA, Ill. – The Harper College men's cross country team put together another outstanding effort on Friday at the Bradley Pink Classic. The Hawks claimed top team honors in the Men's White Race with 56 points, outpacing closest challengers University of Missouri (62 points) and Greenville College (108 points).

Sophomore Juan Barajas (Hoffman Estates, Ill./Schaumburg) once again placed as Harper's top finisher, completing the 8K race on the Newman Golf Course in 26:24.5 for an eighth place finish. Fellow sophomore was close behind Barajas, finishing in 26:34.1 for 10^th place overall. The Hawks' Zach Stella (Palatine, Ill./Palatine) captured 16^th place with a time of 26:58.3.

Freshman Adam Brauer (Palatine, lll./Palatine) took 29^th place overall with a finishing time of 27:27.3, and Will Troman (/Streamwood) rounded out the top-five with a 41^st place finish in a time of 28:00.

Harper now gears its efforts towards the Region IV Championship hosted by College of DuPage on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 11 AM at the St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville.
